We are a community of men, women, and children who strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ and live by the standards found in the Bible. As part of the worldwide organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, our congregation in Nelson serves the spiritual needs of the community and surrounding Kootenay region.
The Nelson Congregation has been an active part of the community since 1967, when it was formally registered as a charitable organization with the Canadian government under Registry ID 765810916RR0001 . For decades, we have been sharing the comforting message of the Bible with our neighbors in Nelson and beyond.
Our mission is to assist the local unincorporated association of Jehovah's Witnesses in carrying out their religious objective of preaching the good news of God's Kingdom and promoting public religious worship designed to uplift all who attend through moral and spiritual instruction based on God's Word the Bible.

Known as "The Queen City," Nelson is home to more than 350 restored heritage buildings, a thriving arts and culture scene, and a welcoming community of approximately 11,200 residents.
Our congregation proudly serves the Nelson community and surrounding areas in the Kootenay region. The beautiful natural setting of mountains, lakes, and forests reminds us daily of Jehovah's creative power and his loving provision for humanity.
